@Thedouglasclan I intend to! The maturity of ease and warmth of your style of writing is inviting...I'm looking forward to the 2nd book :-)

@Thedouglasclan I loved the book. I admire the delicate albeit very ordinary handling of his having past lives that give him the abilities that he love using. The way that it isn't overly emphasized to superhero proportions, rather just a natural part of his life is refreshing. The fact that he's a 'spook' is to be expected, considering his gifts. You vaguely remind me of Adam Hall. His handling of Quiller, my favourite spook as an invisible man, efficient and technically brilliant, at times isolated but always aware of his responsibilities is reminiscent if your work. His gifts are just a natural part of his life too. Keep writing....the only thing I can fault is the occasional grammatical errors that need editing and the cliffhanger ending that frustrated me at 1am when I finally finished your book.

@kimling thank you. it is not over. there are another 50 chapters to come at least. I am nearly finished the next one continuing the Gorbachev story to the end of that and beyond. I really appreciate your comment. The book has not been edited yet, It is written from memory so grammar is sometimes forgotten. please keep coming back for more.

@Queenbeexox Interesting....so Jessica forced herself on him, but of course the ensuing confusion leads to their budding romance falling apart, and her already fragile friendships breaking even more....unless if someone comes along and tells the truth. A very reliable witness perhaps... ;-) I can guess who, but I'll wait and see!

@kimling I'm so happy you take such interest in my story, so Thankyou!!!! :) And yes, friendships/ Romances may be falling apart... but what will save them?(Or not save them?) You will have to find out!!! :) x

@Queenbeexox I love your story. It looks like Brandon and Cathy deserve each other already. But I suspect Ryan's fate might not be a happy one if she meets Brandon at that party, but that'll be the thing that wakes your heroine to the danger she isn't seeing yet.

Queenbeexox

@kimling Thank you so much!! :') It means so much when I hear that!! :D Yeah, Brandon and Cathy do!! :) Wow, its amazing how you've thought so much about it!! :D You shall find out what happens to Ryan in the next chapter.... *dramatic music*! Hopefully it lives up to your expectations! :D xo

I loved 'the mermaid bride'. You should consider writing a second one to finish the story. The idea of her compulsory service being dangerous, and having so little detail about what it entails opens up so many possibilities. Besides her story needs a proper ending. Her family's reaction to what happened, the changes and evolution to her character as a result of what she has to do (an upgrade in her training to discovering and using magic would be interesting) and her gradual happiness on her own at first and eventually loving someone again, not necessarily her admirer, although he is a wonderful choice :-) Tc Jessica.
