Who am I?
A small town grown-up girl born and bred in Texas by steadfast Christian parents. I believe that there aren't all that many shades of gray, but that most of life's choices are pretty black and white. That doesn't make them easy--doing the right thing is often the most difficult choice, but it is still the right thing. That's where I'm coming from. I can usually be found walking (my doctor insists that I exercise) or at home gardening, reading, spending time with my family and/or writing.

So why do I write?
First, I write because I think there needs to be a strong voice reminding women (and men) that it is okay to have a serious relationship without sex. Also, I write what I love to read--stories about men and women struggling to do the right thing in a society that believes morality is an old fashion word with a bad taste. I miss love stories that move at a slower pace, where the man and women get to know each other outside of the bedroom, and get married, before they jump in bed. My characters aren't perfect; they make mistakes, but hopefully, that makes them more interesting. I know this is not the current trend, but I have to believe that there are other women, maybe men as well, who want a good story without three plus scenes of gratuitous sex. You should know up front, you won't find any abusive relationships in my stories.. There aren't any four letter words that you wouldn't say in front of your granny.

I write about strong women of all ages, because love doesn't end at forty. I write about getting it right, and the frustration and pain that comes with opening yourself up to someone who matters. There is laughter, tears, and passion, because how could it be a love story without passion. My work isn't pretending to be something it isn't, but it won't make you blush if you read it in the doctor's office.

So if you're looking for a book to relax with, maybe fall in love with, then feel free to stop by and say hi.
