So Many Scars
A poem. About cutting. That actually kind of rhymes for once!
Bonjour! Je m'appelle Katie. I'm a 16 year old, insane, depressed, introverted, nerdy homeschooler. I have a problem with cutting. But. I'm trying to stop. I'm usually a pretty nice person. I can be brutally honest, sarcastic and sometimes even kind of funny. I seem to have a machine in my brain. I've named it "The Pervert Machine." Whatever people say to me goes through that machine and the answer to what they say comes out as a perverted joke. Thankfully, this doesn't happen all the time. I love to read and write. Which is why I'm on this site. Obviously. I'll read pretty much anything that looks appealing to me. My absolute favorite books are the Millenium trilogy by Stieg Larsson. I also enjoy books by Stephen King, James Patterson, James Frey, John Green and David Levithan. I've finished co-writing the first draft of a book, currently titled "Candace and Jack's Adventure in Hell" and am in the process of editing. I've finished writing two short stories and have planned out and started many more novels and short stories. Other hobbies besides reading and writing include drawing Epic Bob comics, which I don't have time to put on the blog (epicbob.blogspot.com) but I will eventually so if you're reading this you should go follow the blog, blogging (thelonesomecrayon.blogspot.com), and playing music (piano, guitar, flute). and learning languages. I'm nearly fluent in Spanish and started French two years ago. I've played many sports in my sixteen years on this earth, but the best one of all? Ice hockey. I play for the Blue Devils and the Yellow Jackets this year. That's why my username is "bluedevil6." 6 is my number for the Blue Devils. This season is my 11th. Hockey isn't a hobby. It's a lifestyle and the rink is my second home. "You lace up your skates, put on your gloves, strap on your helmet, and jump onto the ice, and it doesn't matter that your whole life is one big mess...none of it matters...your world is perfect for the next few hours."
