I'm not really sure if I'm any good at this kinda thing, but I guess you don't know until you try so ... Yup.
One of the best inspirations is music - some songs just give you the best ideas and others give you characters to form. An other are my friends. They kind of give u those small traits that u can put into a character that makes that character that much personal and interesting.
