Ia Uaro

Hello.

I am Ia Uaro from Sydney, Australia.  Formerly a teenage writer, petroleum seismologist, and translator, I now do several kinds of volunteer work for the community, assesses manuscripts, review books with Bookpleasures.com, and write real-life socio fiction.

My newly released novel SYDNEY'S SONG is a young girl's courageous journey to adulthood, where heartbreaks are juxtaposed with humour. A work of fiction based on true stories, this vivid portrayal of the people around me first of all aims to be an entertaining read.  I whip up pain, obnoxiousness, love, loss, laughter that most readers can relate to, and roll them into stories that I hope readers will find enjoyable and heartwarming.
