One of the most significant changes to the world over the last ten years is that it's ok to admit you're a geek. I'm old school geek- full on comics, sci-fi, DnD fantasy, indie-kid.

Oh, and I write epic fantasy and YA sci-fi/Steampunk.

So, as seems the fashion on t'Wattpad, here are my likes and loves:

Music: Green Day, Muse, The Killers, Teenage Fanclub, Gaslight Anthem, Manic Street Preachers, Blink 182, White Lies, Glasvegas, Ash, Vaccines, Athlete, 80s electropop (Depeche mode, Gary Neuman, Eurythmics, OMD)

Books: Got to start with Tolkien, George RR Martin, Moorcock, Hobb, Hickman, Weis, Gaiman, Pullman, Lynch.... basically fantasy and SF

Comics: traditional really.... love the New Avengers by Bendis, FF by Hickman, most things by Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman, bryan Talbot, Grant Morrison

TV: not much. Dr Who (of course), BSG, Merlin, old school Star Trek, the vampire stuff my missus makes me watch (Vamp diaries, True Blood, Being Human), Sherlock, Ashes to Ashes, Life on Mars, Game of Thrones. Should watch Grimm and the Walking Dead, I know, but time... it just drifts away

other nonesense: loved RPGs for years (DnD, not dressing up and stuff), work as doctor, have kids, house, old dog (Alfie), play guitar, crap tattoo, earring that just looks sad on a middle-aged doctor, Doc Martens, a Superfly hoodie, loved Australia and Bali when I travelled, have been to US once and got scared in Chicago, don't speak Italian, used to love the Muppet Show, cry at Finding Nemo and the Lion King, ah.... message me and I'll confess more
