Update on my new project:
          
          I am a little over halfway through Part II. I decided to hold off on posting anything from the story until it is utterly, entirely COMPLETED, so I apologize for any inconvenience. My girlfriend, Leah, is probably going to post a few stories of her own on here, though, so you will have something to read from us.

As a writer, my priority goal when describing things, whether it's characters, a setting, or a scene, is not to use too many details. I want the reader to imagine it for themselves. I put in a few good adjectives--the color of someone's eyes, how long their hair is, the color of a house, the type of neighborhood--but I want their imagination to be stimulated. I want them to reach a zenith of ambiance when they read my work. I want them to be in control.

Okay, update on my HUGE project. I finished up Part I last night at one o'clock in the morning and began Part II today. I'm going to start the editing process of Part I today as well was keep going with Part II. This might take a little longer than the actual writing part (it took me just over a week to write Part I, which is 130 pages long) or it might take me less. I think for the most part I'm just going through to correct grammatical errors and not so much to  change the story line or anything because I like where it is going. That is my update. I will let you know if anything changes.

I know I haven't uploaded anything in a few days, and here's why. 
          
          First of all, I've been sick so I was sleeping for a while, then I had to go back to work and while being sick when I came home I just crashed haha.
          
          Secondly, the stories I have posted are currently ON HOLD for something much BIGGER.
          
          Thirdly, that BIGGER thing is this huge project. This is a story I played with the idea for when I was a teenager, and I wrote the story when I was about eighteen. I stumbled across what I wrote about two years ago, and I started to rewrite it. I made it through fourteen chapters before I stopped, so now I'm rewriting it. But what's taking me so long to upload it here is that I want to make sure it's PERFECT for you guys because I'm so excited for this book. 
          
          So please, bear with me. I'm just over halfway done with Part I, so I should start to upload a chapter a day from the story starting in a week or so. I'll keep you updated when I know.
