Born in the 80's, Sapha teethed on images of the Berlin Wall falling down. Nursery rhymes held post-modern meanings to the toddler as she watched Europe shift and change in the two decades it took her to grow up. She scaled the hills of Trondheim and eyed the ever present landscape of a history bred into the water and said a fickle farewell for the mountains of Canada's Pacific West Coast. Surrounded by artists and the scattering of tree-bound islands, Sapha began a lifelong inspection of culture, gender roles and the pervasiveness of religion and science.
She is a member of the Writer's Union of Canada, and is currently halfway through both Book of Revels (the sequel to Son of Abel) and her first Sci-fi novel Neon Lieben.
