I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember, and I’ve always wanted to write books for young people. I’ve published literary fiction for adults (short stories and a novel), but I’m really excited to be on Wattpad, and I’m hoping to use this as a motivation to keep working on my young adult fiction. I have the same birthday as Charles Dickens (February 7), and I know that he wrote a lot of his fiction in serialized format. 

My favourite books are A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett, and anything by Lucy Maud Montgomery. I loved the Anne of Green Gables books, but I identified more with Emily Starr of New Moon, who had two black braids and wanted to be a writer. 

I also loved reading Trixie Belden mysteries, The Three Investigators mysteries, and The Babysitters Club book series. To be perfectly honest, I still reread some of these books pretty frequently.

When it comes to television, I’m obsessed with Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Veronica Mars, and the Gilmore Girls. 

I love candy, napping, pickles, singing, going to concerts, and playing Just Dance 4. 

Also, I'm still figuring out who to follow on here or how to even find people to follow...suggestions welcome!

I’m hoping to post a new chapter once a week. But it will definitely motivate me if you vote for my story and post comments!
