I remember the feeling! Assuming you get the grades you're aiming for, what's next?

@Bookappisodes Good to hear from you. I'll follow you back, and watch your progress with interest. Book 1 of my Myrddin's Heir series ("A Wizard of Dreams") is now free on Smashwords. I'm trying to get Amazon to price-match that, but they seem reluctant. The other four books in the series are priced at the lowest possible amount - 99p and 99c - because I want as many bright children as possible to be able to afford them.
I'm at myrddinsheir@hotmail.com for private or lengthier interchanges...

Its really inspiring to know that people from all ages come to wattpad to write stories. I have a tight schedule but I shall try to read it books. :)

@commieheart24 No hurry. I remember school. I spent more than 50 years in school (starting when I was 4 years old...) :-)

@commieheart24 EPUB is the standard format for Nooks, so I will send you an EPUB file. I'll shortly be putting all five of my books in the series on to Smashwords and making Book 1 free as a loss leader (so that Amazon will price-match it). I am hoping that once you have read Book 1 you will want to carry on with the series to find out what happens next; but I'll take my chances on that! xx

@InvisibleInkx Thank you for those positive comments. I just had a 55 year old post a 5 star review on the Amazon.com website (in the U.S.) and she said she regretted not having any grandchildren to read the story to, but that she very much enjoyed it as an adult.
I deliberately make the reading age high, then explain the harder words in the notes. The great thing about e-readers too is the instant access to a dictionary definition - it gets children into the habit of expanding their vocabulary. As Gordon says later in the series: "If thought is language that isn't spoken, that must mean that the more language you know the more able you are to think."
Could I ask you a REALLY big favour? Could I ask you to post that last paragraph of yours as a review in the kindle store? It's really quick to do, and will help me build up a good store of positive comments. I'm averaging 5 stars at the moment...
Clicking on the book 1 slider on the homepage of www.myrddinsheir.com takes you directly to the relevant page in the kindle store; then you just click on <post a review> and copy and paste it in.
If you ever want me to edit another chapter, or offer comments on a particular short story, do send it to me via the myrddinsheir e-mail address I know you have...

Yes, it was great. A lot of catching up to do now. A top priority has had to be the revising of certain details in Book 4 of "Myrddin's Heir", having visited four of the locations that I use in it. I'm hoping to have a revised version in the Kindle Store in a day or two...

My trip to Ireland left me with a backlog, which I've cut into since getting back at the weekend, but I haven't managed everything. I've made a note of your request, and will certainly read "The Young Fighter" asap after I get back from the Shetlands and Scotland on 9th August...

I'll re-read and get on to formulating some (hopefully helpful) comments right away. Of course I'm very happy when anyone reads, comments and votes on the opening chapters of Book 1 in my "Myrddin's Heir" series. I'm even happier when they like it enough to download the whole book from the Amazon Kindle Store for a mere 99p! And I'm ecstatic when they go on to post a 5 star review and recommend it to all the bright children they know between the ages of 10 and 110!

However, first things first... Yes, do please read and comment on the opening chapters of "A Wizard of Dreams" when you have time... :-)

Just realised I'm on your reading list - thanks! It means a lot to me that you think my work is notable enough to be part of your reading list. I would love to know what you think of my book! And if you would like me to read, comment, vote, etc on your work don't hesitate to ask! :)
