215 years. It's been 215 years since I was born. Today is my 215th birthday. Sometimes though I wish that my life had ended 200 years ago. When I look in the mirror, I don't see an old woman. I don't see a young woman. That's just it, I don't see myself at all when I look in the mirror. I'll give you three guesses- what am I?
I know what you're thinking. "there is no such thing as vampires. They only exist in myths and legends and the occasional modern fiction novel."
Well, you're right, sort of. Vampires as portrayed in horror books, or even romance books, are fiction. But just because some over-creative author portrayed us wrong, we don't exist? Wrong. We do exist. We aren't human. We live forever. Or at least until I was made.
