About

About me: 30+ years of age, but not the least bit grown up. Chocolate addict. A little nutty. Hey, what creative person isn't? They've done studies on it.

Writing has been my passion for as long as I can remember. It may have started when the teacher handed out notebooks for us to write stories in. I filled mine and asked for another. To this day, I still carry around a notebook at all times. It's like my security blanket, I get very anxious if I don't have access to pen and paper. When deciding on a career in life, John Grisham was my inspiration. I figured I'd be a lawyer for a couple of years, and then become an author. Well, I ended up somewhere in between. I went to law school, but I didn't have the patience to do the career thing until my true passion could be allowed to blossom. So now I work as a legal secretary and I get to leave the office 5 o'clock sharp every day to engage in my writing. Also, I get vacation time so I can travel, which is fuel to the imagination.

On Wattpad, though, you can read my stories in genres like thriller/drama, romance and, yes, chicklit. I mostly write in third person, with maximum two POVs. If not, I'm writing in first person.

Enjoy!

I have lost the will to write.
Well, not really, but lately the doubts of my own capabilities have been haunting me. What if I will never write something worth reading? Who am I if I am not a writer?
Sharing ones work with others is a scary thing. Sometimes it's too much for me to handle. I guess I'm one of those people who are happiest in a secluded cabin somewhere, typing on an old typewriter, sending off manuscripts that may or may not be read, and slowly going insane.
Well, I sure hope I won't go insane, and I've already self-published two books on Amazon aside from the ones published on Wattpad. So at least I'm one step closer to non-insanity, right?
Not sure why I'm writing this in the first place, but today is just one of those days, I guess.
November is coming up. I'm going to do NaNoWriMo this year, too. This time I'm trying to get my second chicklit book written. Before November starts, I'm trying to write ahead on my other stories so I'll have something to put up here while I'm working on my nano. We'll see how that goes.

Boxing
LilianeGrouse
Thank you for your input. I tried finding online what it would be called in the US and Wikipedia said some Americans (closer to Canada) refer to the day after Christmas Day as Boxing Day even though it's not a public holiday. Guess you can't trust everything you read online, even on Wikipedia lol
