Urk! I made this in hopes of persuading myself to actually upload what I write, but I'm insanely shy about it. I'm actually in the process of writing two stories, which is a first for me (I'm usually a fanfiction writer ^^)

You guys came here to read stories, not memoirs, so I'll skip the whole "Personal info" thing. On the subject of writing:
Fantasy is my favorite genre to read, and I'm currently working at my first attempt to write a fantasy story. I've never had to establish a whole fictional setting and history before, so it's a bit more work than I'm used to. But I'm trying! 
What I find is the best genre for me is humor, it just comes to mind easier. I'm not very great at drama or romance (despite secretly being a hopeless romantic...shh!) but it's something I'm working on.
My weakest point is DEFINITELY dialogue. I try to make it flow naturally from line to line so the reader doesn't stumble over the sentences, but at the same time it's really hard to make each sentence sound good as a stand alone out of context. Trying to hit that balance is what's always tripping me up, as well as not sounding forced.

Criticism/advice/comments are always helpful and appreciated, please feel free to leave some! I'll take all the help I can get, because we never do stop learning, do we?
