I don't live my life on my own schedule. No, my daily activities are determined by my 2, yes 2, personal assistbirbs. When one of parrots decides it's time for mom to get up, you'd better believe they make sure I'm up. Sometimes they're tired of my nonsense and screech until I go to bed. It's fine, you know, at least until they each want different things. Grapes are the trick to a peaceful day.

When I was a teenager, I read the Xanth books and decided I was going to be a writer just like Piers Anthony. I never did finish that first book I was writing, but I transformed it into something else that I also haven't finished. 

Life got in the way. Anyone who thinks you can always find a way never got married too young had a baby too young and had health problems dragging them down. But one day, you're in a better relationship, the kid is grown and you take lots of meds. 

My point is that I'm working on my novel again, but other stories pop up and want to be told. We'll see how this goes. I'm also planning a wedding right now, so I'm not sure how consistent I'll be. I definitely welcome and appreciate feedback and constructive criticism.
