I spent the last twenty-five years in the construction industry. Back surgery in March of 2010 got me to reviewing my life and what i was doing. I decided I had enough of building roads and all of the fun that goes with it so I turned towards a passion I had toyed with over the decades; writing. I wasn't sure what to write about at first and then it hit me; my life. I had just lost my partner, father and high school sweetheart (reunited with after a thirty year absence) to cancer. I wondered why I had to go through their last days. As I wrote the book I found out "Why did Everything Happened?" I was put back in their live when it counted the most.

I realized when I finished the first book I wanted to share the love Debbie and I shared over thirty years. "Loves True Second Chance." It was a good way for me to heal from her loss.

I then started on a historical novel about the battle of Kursk but was sidelined when the woman who was taking care of my mom (90) suggested I write a love story about WWII. Not happening. I called Debbie's oldest daughter and asked her if vampires were still popular. She replied with an emphatic "YES!" The end result, "Occupation." It isn't your normal vampire book. As the Germans start relocating the population of Southern Poland, their plan awakens an enemy that only resided in their darkest nightmares.

I currently live n the DFW area and spend a lot of time with my children and grandchildren.
