My name is Daniel, I'm twenty five, and I love to write. My books, which you see below, are hopefully going to be published sometime soon, if I get my a** into gear and start editing. I am very proud of my second piece, titled Born Of Fire, which spent six months at the number one spots in both Fantasy and Action categories. I owe all of my Wattpad fame to Jolyn Palliata and HunnyBee, thanks to them both.

Ghost Skills, which you see below, was my first story, and is completed. If you're going to read it, read the final version please. It's still pretty raw, even after five edits, and in desperate need of another.

Edge Of Justice is book two of Ghost Skills, and I'm still writing it.

Born Of Fire, is completed, and currently undergoing edits.

Descent Into Darkness is number two in the Born Of Fire series, and is my top priority, but, I can barely wrench an hour to write anymore, which sucks.

Shadow is slow going, but I will finish it!

Like I said...you are amazing! I really appreciate the opportunity to learn from the best author on Wattpad, in my opinion. Oh, and I just figured out how to use all the buttons and things on this site. So when I first started talking to you a few weeks back, I didn't know anything about the "like" button, or the "vote" button. And I didn't know anything about how to dedicate a chapter to someone whom we find is helpful. Now I do, and I will be sure to spread the love. lol

@Somerlea Posting a completed book is fine, by most publishers standpoints, as long as you're willing to remove it from the site at their request.

When it comes down to the question of laying low or gaining as many fans as possible, I would say go with the fans. If and when your work is published, you, by that point, already have a dedicated fan base that would be willing to buy your book and help spread the word.

I'll send you  private message detailing another few things that you can try.

I wondered if I could get your thoughts on whether or not posting a completed story on Wattpad helps us or hurts us when we are looking to get published. I know you are getting close to being a  published author, so I was just curious. May I ask what methods you are pursuing in order to make your dreams of seeing your book in print come true? For example, are you interested in obtaining a Literary Agent, or are you waiting to be discovered on Wattpad by a Publisher? I'm trying to determine if it's better for me to fly under the radar on Wattpad with a story worthy of being published, or whether I want to concentrate on marketing on this site to gain readers to prove I am worthy of being published. So many choices, so little time!
