About

Demelza Carlton has always loved the ocean, but on her first snorkelling trip she found she was afraid of fish.

She has since swum with sea lions, sharks and sea cucumbers. She's stood on spray-drenched cliffs over a seething sea as a seven-metre cyclonic swell surged in, shattering a shipwreck below.

Sensationalist spin? Hardly. She takes a camera with her to capture shots just like her background picture and loads them on her blog: http://www.demelzacarlton.com

Demelza lives in Perth, Western Australia, the shark attack capital of the world.

The Ocean's Gift series was her first foray into fiction, followed by the Nightmares trilogy. She swears the Mel Goes to Hell series ambushed her on a crowded train and wouldn't leave her alone.

What makes a Scottish hero hot? Is it the kilt, the accent...or something else?

In honour of my book release today, I've put together a list of seven reasons why Scottish heroes are hot. Because they come with pictures...I had to post them on my website:

http://demelzacarlton.com/2014/09/04/seven-reasons-why-scottish-heroes-are-hot/

And WHY?

Well....I mean, they're hot Scotsmen. Who needs another reason?

...I have one, though :D

My latest release is a series of three books in the Turbulence and Triumph series: Ocean's Justice, Ocean's Trial and Ocean's Triumph. And the hero is one hot Scotsman, William McGregor.

So what DOES a Scotsman wear under his kilt?

Check out the post and you'll find out all you need to know ;)
