Endings are tricky. Of the many books I've loved reading over the years I find myself rarely satisfied with endings. I always want more of something. Maybe more character development, more plot, and sometimes just more story. When writing this I had no intention of writing a sequel for these characters. Though people have shown interest in a novel focused on following Adam or Edward and I haven't ruled these out they aren't current projects.

Hopefully the ending didn't detract from the novel too much. Thanks for commenting!

I love that about the writing/reading experience. There are so many interpretations that can be taken from what you've read. We all see the same stories differently and the more complex the story and characters the more possible ways to construe what we've read. I'm glad I've got you contemplating the narrative.
