Some people think it's a waste for me to spend a lot of my time with my characters in their worlds. I certainly don't think so. And yes, I talk about my characters as if they are real. ;) They are real to me, and I sincerely hope they become real to you. My antidrug is coffee - I can't live without it. You don't want to be around me if I'm going through coffee withdrawal. I write urban fantasy for young adults. On occasion I write non-fantasy teen fiction.

Inspirations:  Melissa Marr, Suzanne Collins, C.S. Lewis, Melody Carlson, J.R.R. Tolkien, Veronica Roth, mythology, folklore, music, films, and photography.

And most importantly, my Savior and God is the one who gives me the strength I need to wake up every morning and drives me to do the best I can. Jesus is the reason I am still alive and writing.
