Scot Alan Masker was born in Belleville, New Jersey in 1962, studied fine art at Rutgers Newark College of Arts and Sciences and then went to Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University obtaining a Master of Architecture degree. He fell in love and moved to Southern England to be with his wife Rachel where they have lived near Winchester ever since. As a practicing architect much time has been devoted to that creative work, raising a family and marking time as one does. Other spaces in that time have been usefully filled with reading and thinking, imagining and dreaming and in looking to celebrate the beauty, wonder and potential in life. A Whirlwind Swirls is part of The Blackwood Saga, a series of work that is growing, and it is hoped, will inspire as well as to give readers joy and entertainment.
