Kaira Naidh is just trying to get through senior year of high school. Not only does she have to impress college admission officers, but she also has to prove to her parents that she can be a successful singer at The Julliard School. After scoring the lead part in her school's Song Soirée, Kaira is given one last shot at proving herself. For her choir practices, Kaira has to get to school early and leave late every day. She finds out that Carter Morrison, a senior she's never spoken to, conveniently lives a few minutes away from her, and also conveniently has practice at the same time as her. Much to her dismay, Kaira has no other choice than to shove her ego aside and ask the arrogant, yet unfortunately hot, moron for car rides. Strangely enough, Carter and Kaira's chaotic hour-long conversations of arguing, yelling, and flirting are one's she starts to enjoy. A lot. Confused by her emotions and thrown off by Carter's mixed signals, she tries to handle every crazy thing thrown her way. Including a literal basketball. As legs, hearts, and dreams are broken, Kaira must balance it all. And she really needs to get her damn driver's license.
