From what I saw all over the media Marshall had gave the performance of a life time to Melbourne last night. It got me excited hearing about it or seeing it in the newspapers, and he looked so damn fine in the clothes I'd picked out for him too and I had none other than Karlie by my side to help me hype along!
It felt so sensational having my best friend living just ten minutes away in a beautiful neighbourhood, living like the queens just like how we'd played out in our heads when we was younger.
She was now all moved in and Matt had gone to meet his old buddy Tyler, so I figured it was best that myself and Karlie stayed away, I was home alone so decided to invite Karlie around with little Noah.

"Look Noah it's uncle Marshall" Karlie pointed to the newspaper,

"Singing" he pointed to the paper, he was SO adorable,

"That's right" she have him his sippy cup,

"I can't believe he's 3" I pulled him over onto my lap, he had only known me through Skype calls so to get to squish him was just the absolute best, he was honestly so beautiful, big brown eyes, long dark lashes but bright blonde hair,

"I know crazy right?"

"Marshall's so good with little ones, I'll just bet he loves you" I pinched his cheek, he cutely giggled as I tipped him upside down,

"You want to introduce them to each other?"

"Of course Karlie, why wouldn't I?"

"Well I just... kind of presumed Marshall wouldn't want anything to do with him, to him that's just some random kid"

"Karlie, Marshall loves kids, he used to have kids from the local area playing on his basketball court, and you know, Noah's gonna need to get to know him if we ever get the chance to babysit"

"You'd babysit for me?"

"Of course! I am his Aunty after all" I tweaked his beautiful little button nose,

"This whole new life is like the biggest blessing, having you in his life.. like properly, it's all I've ever wanted" she went all doughy eyed at me,

"Yeah well it means a lot to me as well Karlie..." We laughed as Noah tried to eat my hair,
"That's not for eating Mr. Has mummy not fed you?" He shook his head, we laughed again,
"No?" I gasped,

"Ooo you cheeky little monkey!" Karlie tickled his belly,
"This big belly is full to the top!"

"Momma" he held his arms out for her, she scooped him up in her arms,

"So..." I exhaled with a grin at the end,

"What" she looked at me concerned,
"I know that look, something bigs coming"

"Well..."

"Jodie.."

"Ok... alright" I took a deep breath in and went to my handbag, taking two folded pieces of paper and hiding them behind my back, I couldn't stop smiling!

"What are you doing you weirdo" she chuckled as she watched me stand before her,

"Pick a hand"

"What?"

"Left or right?"

"Why?" She frowned,

"Just pick one!"

"Okay! Uhm.. left?" I handed her the note, Noah clapped and laughed as she opened it,
"Lift up my top?" She looked at me quizfully,

"Mhmm" I looked down at myself and pointed,

"This is so strange.." she laughed a little as she slowly lifted my jumper, she read the note I'd stuck to my vest with celotape,
"Now check behind the sofa cushion" she shook her head with a smile of bewilderment, she saw a plain cardboard box saying "open me" I'd snuck it there when she had nipped to the toilet,
