scared?
Are they really that afraid of losing me?
kuroko asked herself, a few years have passed and now she just found out how Riko feels, she has been suffering for a few years and now she only knows everything, she has been alone for a few years, she still has great hope that she would bring back the former that they would all be happy again
but why? why does she even need to know all that? why does she still need to know how Riko feels? she was confused, she did not know what to do, she did not know what to say
she thought, she thought she was alone in those past years, with no friends to accompany her always, even one, she had no companion to face all those bad dreams
she experienced depression alone, she was always alone in a room with no one but darkness, she was always in the corner, lifeless, dead, and colorless. she was afraid to come out of that room because when she came out she knew that it was only getting worse, she fears that no one will save her in her own darkness
and she is more afraid to rely on someone again because it might change like everyone else and just leave her again, with a broken heart
she always had nightmares, about when they were all still in Teiko, she remembered that other members of Kiseki no Sedai were gradually moving away from her as if she were a parasite, while she was in the dark part the others were walking away from her even without turning to look at her, she seemed to be drowning more in the darkness alone and gradually the light fades
it was as if she was being punished over and over again that even though she had done nothing wrong, her mind was blank, she could not think of what to do, she just let herself drown in the darkness, with no intention of going up or even asking for help
because she knows that no one will help her get out of her own darkness, because she is a Phantom, everyone fears her, she just deserves the darkness without a companion
and die little by little
"Bakagami needs you, we all need you!"
but, she thinks it's not bad to rely on someone again, right?
"I thought, I will die alone, in a dark and without light...but I think, even though I am alone, there are still many here for me to help me get out of my own darkness"
the whistle sounded loud, all the players inside stopped wondering, their eyes roamed around until they spotted kuroko, who was standing and ready to re-enter the court
their eyes widened with the excitement they felt. they saw that kuroko had a smile on her lips that could not be removed, her hands clasped to each other slowly adjusted the rubber band on her wrist and the tap of her shoes on the floor was heavy
she no longer feels fear, she feels light she has no negative thoughts, and her sky-blue eyes try to find Kagami. her feet stopped in the middle of the court, and it was noticeable that all eyes were focused on her, her hands slowly lowered and her eyes suddenly narrowed where Kagami and Aomine were standing
she saw that Kagami and Aomine were busy glaring at each other without noticing that she had entered the court, she saw that a lot of lightning was coming out of those two and the energy was too heavy.
she put one foot on her back while the other was in front of her. her eyes spotted the referee ready to whistle again
'not yet' she thought
and when she saw that the referee whistle had been approaching her mouth, she also noticed that Imayoshi was approaching her at a fast pace
"now!" she whispered to herself, and in a flash, she disappeared from Imayoshi's sight
her feet ran fast trying to chase the two, she used her low presence so that others could not see her, and the tap of her shoes on the floor was too light
her hair swayed left and right, and her jersey was blown away by the wind
"Kagami-kun"
