"Mackenzie Rose Evans, You get your ass down here by the time I count to three or you will get beaten for not obeying my orders!" the abusive orphanage owner, Miss. Ellie, yelled at me
Normally I wouldn't mind if I gotten beaten again because my appearance is already terrible. But, for some reason I felt like I should go down. So, I got off of my bed and ran downstairs, every so often wincing in pain from recent beatings. Reaching Miss. Ellie just in time for her to stop choosing a paddle to beat me with.
"WOW! For once you actually come down stairs when I tell you to" Said Miss. Ellie
"What do you want? And you are lucky I did come down stairs." I said, earning a slap for my choice of words.
" You are to go to the market to get me some sandwiches. Hurry back!"
" You are going to feed us more than a slice of stail bread?!?"
" Of course not! We are having an adoption day where you show off and try to get adopted. which you won't, But, besides that. You are the oldest so go buy the sandwiches and I will find you if you try and run!"
"fine! Where's the money?"
"Here!" She exclaimed as she shoved 30 dollars in my hand
"don't miss me too much" I exclaimed as I walked out of that hell hole, slamming the door and putting on my hoody so my scars and bruises aren't as noticable.

I was walking fast, trying to get back before sun down. When Suddenly, I rammed into a guy with a tall, broad frame. I fell to the floor, being the skinney little girl I am.
" Hey watch it! I need to get home" I yelled at the brown haired boy with breath taking greenish blue eyes.
" Sorry I didn't mean t- oh my god are you okay! your face has so many... um- oh god your nose is bleeding! did that fall do all that!" He said looking truely concerned
" I don't tell strangers my life so leave me the fuck alone and let me get home" I said getting nervous but annoyed
" My name is Louis, Louis Tominson. Not strangers any more now let me help you" the mystery boy or Louis said
" well i'm late. blood or not I could care less now, good bye Louis" I said standing and then I started bolting to the orphanage
Louis' POV :
I decided to follow the girl just to make sure she got home safe and sound. After about ten minutes of chasing I saw her get into an orphanage. Is that where she gets all of her injuries? I thought to myself. I have to ask the boys if we can adopt her. I don't want her getting more hurt.

" Fine, so I bearly bumped into this girl who fell dropping her stuff and I noticed she had cuts and bruises everywhere. So, I asked her if she was ok and if she needed help but she was just being very rude to me-"
" So you had girl troubles, no suprise, now ca-"
"will you let me finish!" I yelled in anger

"So I followed her home to make sure she was ok because she left with a bloody nose and I saw her walk into an orphanage. guys I think she gets hurt there and I think we should adopt her"
"really we are going to adopt a child c'mon Lou"
"No she looked like 16 or 17"
"I think it is a great idea and I will ask Uncle Si if it is ok"

"Hello I would like to adopt a girl who is about 16 or 17. I saw her on the street earlier" I told a bitter looking lady
"fine, All 15-17 year olds report to the grond level" she said in the microphone
I saw about 8 girls and 2 boys run down the stairs and satnd in a straightline looking quite bored but I didn't find the girl and all these girls looked un harmed and healthy
" I said all 15-17 year olds" she repeated in the micro phone
"I swear to the lord I will give you to the count of three or you know what will happen" she said slightely annoyed
"1..........2............."
suddenly the girl that I saw earlier walked down the steps with an annoyed expression on her face
"what the fuck do you want because if it is an adoption chance you know I have no chance" she yelled in her face
"we have guests you little bitch" the lady said to the girl slapping her HARD earning some laughs from the other orphans
"now get in line I will deal with you later"
"Um....." I said scared of the lady
"yes, sorry, we have many well mannered girls and boys don't mind that one'' she said ponting to the girl we wanted
"We actually wanted her" I said pointing in the same direction
"Oh she is a little bitch that won't do anything and is a waste of space, you don't want her''
"Yes we do now can we please fill out the forms"
"wait I am being adopted" the girl said with a small smile
"Oh shut up you little slut they will give you back in no time, Mackenzie"
"No Way!!!" the girl or Mackenzie exclaimed and ran up the stairs to pack.
