She smiles bitterly ,
Looking in the mirror to a person who can barely grasp reality,
Who can barely grasp the girl she became.
Taking control of all urges.
Even feelings can't escape the self-inflicted pain,
Cutting hearts onto a personal canvas,
Thick red paint oozing out,
Numbness and unbelievable hopelessness taking over.
The already existing life and yearning for death simultaneously.
Wanting to scream from the depths of her lungs,
Yet no words escaping her being.
Instead, just collapsing inside and out.
No words.
No hope.
Just a bitter smile,
Staring right back.
