Reunited

They were awakened around what they assumed was 4am by a groan coming from Christa,
Startled lee pulled out his gun just incase she'd turned and molly grabbed a flashlight from her bag

"Christa" lee called out to her slowly inching toward her

"W-where am I" christa asked her voice raspy
༒
"Oh thank god your okay" he pulled her into a hug making sure not to hurt her since the bullet grazed her stomach making a pretty deep wound before going into her and exiting near the back side of her waist.

The brunette looked startled at the sudden contact but overall she was confused since she still hadn't recognized who they were

"W-who are you people why did you help me?" She asked pulling away
༒
"Christa it's me lee and this is molly remember her"
༒
"Lee? Molly?" Her eyes widened, tears began to form in her eyes
༒
"I-I'm so happy to you" she smiled weakly before realization hit her that Clem she was gone

She looked around frantically to see if she was with them but when she didn't spot her more tears rolled down her cheeks

"I-I'm so so sorry clem
s-she's gone" she sobbed
༒
"Y-you don't mean" molly began to say but stopped when she saw lee start to tear up
༒
"I-I don't know we got attack she tried to save me but I wasn't able to get away and I got shot I don't know what happened to Clem the last thing I remember hearing was 'that little bitch' something something 'river'" she explained

"God I was such a bitch to her after omid died" she added

"S-She can't be dead" lee said obviously in denial

"Lee there's a chance she didn't make it" the dirty blond tried to talk some sense into him

"No! She can't be dead! she can't be dead...." he shouted

"I'm going to find and her and when I do she is still going to be alive" he walked into the kitchen to cool off

"He really cares about her" molly fist clenched

"Shes like a daughter to him" Christa spoke up

"I don't know why but I hate how he is so determined to find her if it was me I bet he wouldn't even bother" the dirty blonds words were filled with venom

"You know that's not true Lee wouldn't just abandon someone and you just feel like that cause your jealous"

"I'm not jealous"

"You are too and you know it" the brunettes words made her fall silent she was jealous she just didn't want to Admit it

"Before you go off like lee do you mind letting me have some food and water I haven't eaten or drank for days"

"Right sorry about that" she handed the girl one of the water bottles Lee had found along with a granola bar she had

"Get your rest while you can knowing Lee he's going to go search for Clem at the first sight of dawn" molly chuckled

"Make sure you sleep too I can see the bags under your eyes"
༒
"Don't worry I will but first I need to get Lee to sleep" she walked into the kitchen leaving Christa alone to get her rest

"Lee come on you need sleep"
༒
"You don't know what I need" lee snapped

"I know you need to find Clem but you can't do that without some proper rest so come let's go to bed and we can look for her at the first sight of dawn"

"I- okay" he sighed in defeat

"Good now lets go" molly lead him back to where they were originally sleeping, seeing that Christa had already beat them to it and gone to bed.

"Good night lee" the dirty blond whispered
༒
"Good night molly" he whispered back
༒
It took him longer than the girls did to fall asleep his mind was thinking about Clem he's so close yet so far from being reunited with her.

Just like molly said they would they grabbed their bags and headed off to find Clem, they searched and searched but didn't find anything.

It's been a few hours since they left the old beat up cabin the sun was higher in the sky than when they first left.
༒
The sound of gunshots could be heard in the distance although it sounded like it was very far away
༒
The trio tried running towards the sound as fast as they could but it was to far away from where they currently were, the more they ran the more tired they got it was useless.

They've been running for  hours occasionally taking small breaks and still no sign of what could have made the person shoot
༒
The sun was setting fast and they had to make camp for the night and pick up the search in the morning.
༒
Lee took the first watch followed by Christa and then molly, at the first crack of dawn they packed up and  continued to walk towards where the sound of gunshots was heard the other day

However what they saw horrified them dead walkers littered the floor some humans corpses were also all over the floor.

"Oh my god I know them" Christa broke the silence
༒
"You do" lee questioned
༒
"Yeah these are the guys that attacked us"
