"where? When?" I ask as I start walking and we sit on his bed
I lay down as he's next to me, but I still can't see his face
"last night I was out on my motorcycle getting something from the store, and he came and talked to me"
"what did you do?" I ask
"I didn't let him talk to me, but he wanted to see my mom" he says
"your mom doesn't know"
"of course, she doesn't" his voice cracks out
"this is why I can't make you happy, he never treated my mom the right way so how am I supposed to treat you the right way" he asks
"chase..at least you said you'll try and your nothing like him just because he didn't treat women well doesn't mean you have to be just like him, do you see the way you make me happy when your around or how much closer your getting to your mom?"
"I'm trying so hard ellie, but you see what happened he got the best of me"
"your going to be okay chase, you can get past this ill help you" I say
"no I need to do this on my own"
"chase"
"I do ellie"

He finally looks up at me as I take my thumb and rub the tears away as I feel my glossy eyes
"I don't deserve you"
"I'm not going anywhere" I whisper as he looks at me the captures my lips

"please my mom won't be home until morning, I can't be alone" he says "we can't order food and watch movies" he says
"I'm not hungry" I lie
"yes, you are" he says
"chase"
"I'll be right back" he says getting off of me and grabs his phone walking downstairs
I sit back for a minute after hearing him order pizza and then I get up after a couple of minutes and walk downstairs to meet him
"pizza will be here soon" he says as he picks me up by my thighs and I close my legs around his waist
"what do you want to do?" he asks tucking a piece of hair behind my ear
"watch a movie?" I ask
"just don't pick a gross one" he laughs
"ugh" I say jumping off of him
"what about...pride and prejudice!"
"what's that?" he asks
"you'll see" I wink walking over to the couch grabbing a blanket and sitting down with the tv remote
