Holding on means letting go; if we are hoping for the wrong things, then holding on to the hope for those things will bring us more sadness and sorrow. Nothing is ever easy. Nothing easy is ever acceptable. Even the most perfect things have imperfections, and as I say so often, it is usually that the imperfect.
