JARED POV

I know what most of you are thinking. It was an idiotic plan that was just going to get me killed, I was a moron, crazy, drugged to even think of it, a dickhead blah blah blah.

But I really didn’t care, it got what I was aiming to achieve.

Seth Greyson behind bars paying for murdering Leah.

It just took my own death for that to happen, and I was prepared to risk that for her.

I’m not going to lie though, getting stabbed hurt like fucking hell. It’s quite ironic really as the actual dying part was pretty easy and painless. If it wasn’t for the fact I was staring at my own dead body on the hospital bed with my parents crying over me, I wouldn’t even have guessed I was dead.

I know what I did will be hell for my parents, but they would eventually learn to get on with life. That’s the only thing that almost stopped me from going through with it, seeing what it would do to my parents. I felt bad, but not bad enough to not go through with it. I loved Leah, and I was going to get justice for her even if it really was the last thing I ever did.

I was now in the hospital corridor, grinning and Leah who’s jaw was basically touching the ground as she stared at me in disbelief.

“Jared?” she breathed, stepping closer to me. “Is that really you?”

“Yeah it’s really me.” I smiled at her. She continued to walk towards me. I knew that watching me die must have been horrible for her, and I know she would be happy that I was with her now.

“Come here love” I opened my arms, inviting her in for an embrace.

She was so close now that I was just about to wrap my arms around her, when to my surprise instead of letting me engulf her in my arms and hold her like I had been dying to do since I layed eyes on her, she punched me in the chest.

“OW! What the hell was that for?” I shrieked, rubbing my chest. That actually hurt, I swear this girl mainlines steroids into her veins!

“You fucking asshole!” she screamed, and continued thumping me in the chest. “You stupid, stupid moron! You bastard!”

After a while, the punched got very painful, and I grabbed her wrists to restrain her before she got fed up of hitting my chest and started aiming for the face. She looked at me angrily, her eyes still had moisture in them from where she had been crying.

“Leah we all know you have a very colourful vocabulary, but is there a reason for the random name calling outburst?” I queried, and her face grew furious.

“YOU FUCKING DIED!” she screamed at me, and the lights in the hospital began flickering uncontrollably.

“You need to teach me how to do that” I mumbled, looking at the lights. She went to pull her arm out of my grasp to hit me again, but I stopped her.

“Do you have any idea how stupid you were?!” she didn’t say it like a question.

“Look what’s the big deal? I died, and now I'm a ghost like you.” I shrugged, really not getting why she was getting so worked up about it.
