A few years have passed and now Yuka works as a full-time writer while Keiji works as her editor. Even now they are close with their high school friends and still watching all Bokuto's matches.

With a groan Yuka drops her head onto the desk. 'Take a break. You have more than a month to go until your next deadline and you are about to exceed the quota already.' Keiji says placing a cup of coffee next to his wife's head. 'Thank you.' she answers smiling while she sips from the warm liquid. 'As your editor I have to keep you on schedule, also helping you out is part of the job too.' He says kissing her head. 'Stop using your job as my editor as an excuse and admit you want to dote on your wife.' The brunette says. The black-haired man laughs. 'We have to go see Bokuto's match tomorrow.' Keiji says reminding Yuka why he came to tell her to rest. 'I heard Hinata joined them too.' Yuka says quietly. 'Yes, he has, it seems he has been abroad for a few years and returned recently.' Her husband answers. 'That makes for Bokuto, Atsumu, Sakusa and Hinata from our high school days.' The young writer says. 'Yep, we will go and cheer for Bokuto. We can also meet up with some of the others again.' Keiji says. His wife nods and saves her concept story before shutting down her laptop.

When they enter the stadium Yuka sees some of her old Karasuno friends. She hesitates for a second but decides to leave them when she sees Tanaka and Kyoko approach. After they looked around for a bit the couple finds their high school friends and join them. They catch up for a bit before the match starts.

Once the match is over, they head over to Bokuto and congratulate him with winning the game. 'I am impressed the blocked balls didn't ruin your mood.' Yuka says with a small friendly laugh. 'Saegusa you are so mean, I am not the same moody spiker anymore.' Bokuto replies. The three of them share a meaningful smile. 'Congrats on reaching number one with the sales of your new book.' The spiker says turning to Yuka. 'You know about that!?' Yuka asks surprised. 'We all do.' Yukie's voice came from behind her. 'We have been buying and reading your books ever since you published your first one in high school.' Komi grins. 'You are a skilled writer and have a reliable editor at your side.' Konoha agrees. 'Thank you, guys.' The writer says smiling. 'What also keeps impressing the people are the beautiful drawings you add in them as illustrations.' Her husband adds. 'Most of them are Misha's, but as new stories are born, new drawings are needed too. I worked hard and am finally at the same level as her.' Yuka answers. 'We got a national level volleyball player, top writer and her amazing editor as our friend.' Kaori laughs. 'I have to head to an interview now, let's meet up soon.' Bokuto left after these words and everyone else went their own ways as well. They would meet up a few days later anyway. 'We should go back too, maybe I can help you out with the part you are struggling with.' Keiji says. Yuka nods. 'Saegusa, please wait.' She unconsciously tenses when she recognizes the voice, she hasn't heard it since the summer camp in her second year of high school. Her husband does recognize the voice too and squeezes her hand while they turn around to face the person that called out to them. 'What do you want Kageyama, Hinata.' The brunette says with a cold gaze. Kageyama is the one that called out to her while Hinata is standing right next to him. 'We want to apologize for what we did to you in high school.' Hinata says. 'I don't need an apology.' Yuka says cold. 'What is it you want then?' Hinata asks. 'Just leave me alone. I told you guys everything I had to say when I broke all ties with Karasuno.' The brunette says. 'You could at least hear us out.' Kageyama says. 'And then what? Get hurt even more than I have already been?' The young writer glares at the two volleyball players. 'Don't be mistaken, I attended todays match because of Bokuto. I can't care less about you two.' Yuka spats. People start to notice things are wrong. 'Saegusa, we really only want to apologize and explain why we went so far.' Kageyama says. 'And I clearly said I am not interested in any of this. Stop bothering me.' Turning on her heels the writer is about to leave when Hinata grabs her arm. 'Just listen to us.' He says. 'Don't you dare touch her.' Keiji says stepping in. He pulls Hinata's hand from his wife's wrist and holds her close to him. 'She told you after the summer camp just how broken she was after what your team did. Now you are here forcing your apology on her?' The editor growls. 'We just want her to understand.' Kageyama says. 'There is nothing to understand. Apart from Takeda, Ukai, Suga, Daichi, Chikara, Asahi and Noya the Karasuno team let me fall. I have no business with any of you at all.' It was clear that the two volleyballers were about to say more. 'Hinata! That is enough!' 'Kageyama what are you thinking?' Two angry voices call out to the players. Atsumu and Ushijima glare at their respective team member. 'Why are you causing such a scene?' Atsumu asks pointing to the crowd that has gathered. 'Kageyama, I expected more of you.' Ushijima says. The two younger players fall silent. 'We apologize for our team member s their rude behavior.' Uhijima says bowing to Yuka and Keiji. Atsumu follows him. 'You aren't at fault so please raise your heads. Yuka says calm. The two men get up and once again glare at their respective team members. 'We are leaving.' Atsumu says practically dragging Hinata with him. Ushijima just glares at Kageyama and the younger player follows him in silence. 'I will never forgive them.' Yuka whispers. 'Let's head home. Bokuto will have their heads once he finds out they tried to force their apology onto you.' Keiji says. His wife nods and relaxes when she gets pulled closer to her husband. The warmth of his body is comforting.

That night Bokuto called them telling that Hinata and Kageyama were benched for at least their next match because of causing a scene. 'If I had caught them, they would have had it coming.' Bokuto growls. 'I think we can be glad you didn't. It would be too bad if you were to get benched too for hitting your team member and a rival.' Keiji says. The former Fukurodani captain falls silent. 'I appreciate the thought. Just don't kill Hinata when you see him again.' Yuka says. 'The entire team is bugging him about why he was bothering you.' Bokuto says. 'Feel free to explain. I think I will stay away for a while tough.' the young writer says. 'Don't worry Saegusa. Just focus on yourself if you need it.' The consideration is clear in his voice and Yuka smiles. 'Thank you Bokuto. Good luck with the rest of the season.' Yuka says. 'We want to hear good news.' her husband adds. Bokuto laughs and agrees with them before ending the call.

Years passed by and now Yuka and Keiji are the proud parents of a beautiful girl. They called her Misha to honor Yuka's sister. Kageyama and Hinata never tried to reach out to Yuka again and tried to avoid ever mentioning the issue again. Yuka became a renown writer and Keiji kept acting as her editor for the rest of her career. Their friendship with Bokuto, Kuroo and Kenma stayed as strong as it always had been and they lived a happy and peaceful life.
