WE PULLED APART... when I saw Elijah's shocked expression making me feel embarrassed...

"I'm... I'm sorry" I said as I looked down to my lap when Elijah's fingers lifted my chin up

"You have no reason to be sorry for," he said as I smiled at him "Why do I feel the way I do with you?" I asked and he chuckled

"And how do you feel my darling?" He said and I chuckled "Loved, Happiness, Comfort" I listed as he seemed to have been content with my answer

"It might be because of your past life" he suggested and I nodded "Would you... ever think about being with us again?" He asked and I nodded without hesitation

"I've been having endless dreams about the two of you and... That might be making me fall in love with the two of you all over again" I confessed and he smiled as I laid down reflecting on everything that had just happened

"Nik... Is he okay being without you?" I asked and he laid down with me as he looked at the ceiling and I followed his lead "Ever since you died... he hates to be reminded of you... looking at me only brings up those memories more than anything ever could... even then he has some of your jewelry and journals... he even kept intact our old home in England" he said and I smiled

"I want to see him," I said and he sighed "I'm afraid Niklaus wouldn't take to kindly you not remembering our old life... we need to be able to turn you and hopefully change him" he suggested and I nodded disappointed

"He... He's misunderstood, I remember that... he didn't want to be alone and even his affection... he has a hard time showing it" I said and felt Elijah hold my hand and bring it to his lips

"Only you would make excuses for him," he said making me chuckle "We need to find a way to make me a siren again right?" I asked and he nodded

"Bring me the book" I whispered into his ear making him groan "You little misfit" he muttered as he disappeared only for a second until I sat up and saw him standing in front of me with the book...

"Did I ever tell you how a siren was made?" I asked and he shook his head "Then I just have to find it here" I said and he nodded... that's when I heard my phone rang...

"It's Elena," he said and I sighed as he handed it to me and I answered... I had to

"Where are you?" she asked and I sighed as I looked at Elijah who only blankly stared at me waiting for me to answer... "I'm researching my past life..." I confessed "Oh... How... Did you find anything so far?" she asked and I hesitated to wonder if I should tell her...

"Good... I go through books about my family history actually" I said not being able to lie to my sister... even if we weren't related by blood...

"Great! Were... were you human?" she asked and I sighed "No... I was a siren and..." I stopped when I saw something in the book that wasn't there before...
