The heat of the moment sewed in through your heart,

You can feel the tingling in your soul;

But one fall can break your stature.

Sweep slowly and gracefully,

Cause I know that there is a chance for hope .

Just believe that whatever

works out there, can work out here.

So beautiful earthling, don't drag your lips and the tips of your eyelids through the dirt.

Stay keen and have a mind full of perspicacity,

Dread walks like fresh blood on a warrior sword.

Remember to never walk bare foot,

Every bit of the earth you will encounter has broken glass.

Just know that whatever

works out there, can work out here dear;

Because reminiscing on those words will make everything just fine.

N/A: This poem is based on this song called Outside by Foo Fighters. I totally fell in love with this song from their new album. So it became my outlet when I started writing this.
