I look over the deep swirls of sapphire.

The waves hit my feet and freeze.

I look up at the sparks of pearl against black tourmaline.

The winds brush over my face and tickle.

I look up at his hazel eyes and copper hair.

He looks at my chocolate waves and eyes.

He kisses my lips with a taste of orange, then mint.

Mint! It knocks my senses out. I cannot feel a thing.

I bite my lips and in his mirrored eyes, I see apple cheeks and cherry lips.

I see his lips as well. They mock me; lure me in for another kiss.

We tumble onto the tanned sugar.

He tickles my shoulder as he reaches for the ruby cloth that adorns my body, clenching it with his teeth.

Trrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrring!!!

I wake up with a start and glare at my mother’s phone alarm.

Another dream ruined by that contraption!

Why are teens so obsessed with their technology again?!
