Destined to Unite

Chapter 6

My day started with me having breakfast with Antonio. Even though I have spent very little time with him, I feel like he's my grandfather. I learned that he is a human. Natalie and Daniel found him back when they were eating in a small restaurant in Paris. He was divorced and has a daughter and grandson.

"Antonio this is the best grilled cheese I have ever had." I exclaimed, savoring every bite of th delightful creation.

"Thank you, my secret is that I put multiple types of cheeses. I saw it in a movie once." he said laughing.

"Well that was a very wise movie."

"Yeah, could you to the dining room and bring the dirty dishes."

"Yeah, sure." I went to the dinning room and when I entered I just stoped dead on my tracks.

Jace was sitting in one of the chairs not doing anything. Just sitting there. I decided that I will just do what Antonio asked me to do and leave immediately.

"Good Morning. I was just waiting for you."

Well there goes my plan.

"What did you possibly need me for?" I asked him a bit harsh but I didn't care.

"Well, uh, since you will be staying here for a while I was, um thinking that maybe you would like to meet the rest of my brothers?" he suggested scared of what my answer would be.

I really don't want to meet them. I just wanna stay her with Antonio and cook all day. But I will have to meet them sooner or later and I find that if you get rid of the difficult things first everything else will be easier.

"OK." I answered half heartedly

"Really! Well um they are getting ready to hit the pool, I'll see you there." 

"But wai-"

Slam!!!

"I don't know where the pool is." I mumbled to myself disappointed.

*********************************************I finally found my way back to my room after about an hour. I was currently looking through the dresser for a bathing suit that wasn't a bikini that didn't show a lot of skin. But what really creeps me out is that they are all in my size. I don't even want to know how they know it. After a while I settled with this blue monokini that is decorated with a scene from the Mulan movie and around the top it has a little flounce. Also, I put on some random flip flops and some pool shorts that I found.

I put my hair in a high ponytail and put on some sun screen. I buen very easily one time my parents took me to the beach a day that I felt very sick and I fell asleep on a chair. When I woke up, I was redder than Mushu.

I finished packing my things to a bag that I found and was on my way to find the pool.

I arrived at the pool thanks to a nice lady that gave me directions. The pool was beautiful and pretty big. In a corner there was a Jacuzzi and a barbecue.

I saw Jace at the barbecue ,grilling some burgers and Ricky fighting with his twin brother. Music was blasting loudly off a

"Hey Kathy come over here!" Jace shouted at me once he saw me. "What took you so long?"

"I got lost." I responded shyly since I was a bit embarrassed about that.

"Oh OK. Remind me that I have to give you a tour of the place. Ricky come over here!"

Ricky came over here wearing a blue bathing that let me see his awesome six pack. I quickly looked away so he wouldn't catch me staring.

"Kathy this is Ricky. He is Max's twin brother."

"Yeah we already met." Ricky told him while I nodded to back him up.

"Oh well then you can take care of the burgers while I present Kathy to the rest of the guys." He took my arm and dragged me away without waiting for an answer from Ricky. I couldn't help but feel relaxed when he was dragging me away. We sat down in one of the beach chairs that had a bit of shade.

"Okay I'll introduce you from youngest to oldest. So lets start with Max. Max looks exactly like Ricky but he is the complete opposite. He is more crazy and Ricky is more calm. Next is Daniel. he is the one with dark blue eyes with green specs and blonde hair. He is very smart like genius smart but he is cool to hang out with. Then there's Charles, he's the one with weird brown eyes and brown hair. He loves to do pranks. One time he made a carton of milk explode in mom's face. She made him sleep outside for a week. Next is yours truly. Well I'm the sexy, handsome and charming one."

"Whatever helps you sleep at night." I replied jokingly just to tease him.

He made as if he was offended and I couldn't help but burst into laughter.

"Whatever! So next is Lucas. He's the gamer. He practically has the world the world record in every game he owns. He's the one with light blue eyes and light brown hair. Then there's Kendrick. That's him with the green eyes and brown hair. He's the artistic one. He dances, sings, plays about every instrument we own, all of that stuff. And lastly but not least there's Hunter. He is the one that is scary looking brown eyes, brown hair, serious face and all that stuff."

"I heard that!" a guy who I'm guessing is Hunter shouted at Jace.

"You know its true! But actually he is very cool so don't be afraid of him. Well that's all of us basically." he took a sip of the drink he had in his hand.

"What the hell is that?" I asked when I saw Kendrick spinning this type of sand clock between two sticks and a string.

"Its a Chinese yo-yo. Want to try?" Kendrick asked me. It did look kinda cool, so why not. It took me a few trys but eventually I got the hang of it.

"Wow, you're pretty good at this. Let's try a trick." Jace showed me how to throw it up and catch again. I started throwing it just a little bit up in the air then I started throwing it higher and higher.

"This is so cool!" I said excitedly. "I know! I spent a whole summer learning new tricks every day." Kendrick explained to me with a proud smile n his face. "Oh, I have an idea! Let's all do a tower in the pool and Kathy has to catch the yo-yo while she is on top."

"That sounds cool, let's try it!"

The tower I was on right now consisted of all eight brothers except Kendrick who was going to throw the Chinese yo-yo so I could catch it. We already had tried it a few times and every time we were successful somebody would get in the tower.

"Kathy are you ready?" yelled Kendrick

"Yeah!"

Kendrick threw the Chinese Yo-Yo and I tried to catch it but he threw it a bit to far. When I catched it we were all wobbly so we all fell into the pool.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!"

When we got out of the water we all cracked up. Then that's when we heard...

"We're back!!!"
