Letting Go

Like a fog upon a lake,
That fades at sunrise.
Here one second,
Gone the next.

Turning down a road,
A road where only memories lay.
Then opening my eyes,
To greet a new day.

What one was fog,
Now is clear.
The mist is gone,
When the sun appears.
