Encre's POV
I sit up and find a small skeleton child hugging me tightly. I smile, wrapping my arms around the boy. He was shaking, but not from fear but from excitement. He could hardly contain himself, he is ecstatic.
"You're Mr. Encre right? Papa's friend right?"He says excitedly
"Yes, I am Encre. I am guessing you are Ghastly, right?"I say
"Mhm! That's me! I'm so happy to meet you! It's a pleasure to meet you! I've heard so much about you from Papa or Mr. Killer! O-Or Mr. Ink or Mr. Error! O-Oh! Look at this!"He says, showing me an octopus doll
It was a stuffed purple octopus with adorable eyes. He hugged it close and smiles at me.This kid is so precious.
"Papa made this for me. He was inspired by what you and your friends nickname him. Would that make me son of the were-octopus?"He says
I nod.
"I've heard plenty about you from your father, Ghastly."I say
His eyes twinkle with joy and even more excitement.
"Really?!"He asks
"Mhm, he is really proud of you and loves you very much. But aren't you supposed to be at home and grounded? What are you doing here?"I ask
"Papa is the only home I really know. Uncle Dweam is too busy being nosy, making mistakes, or causing trouble to watch over me. Cousin Palette literally had to get me out of the oven when Uncle put me in there instead of some pies. But Palette is busy keeping Uncle Dream out of trouble or hanging with his Gothy to watch me either. I mean, Uncle Dream did start this mess by setting Papa up with Charles."He says
Smart kid. Poor kid to deal with that, but sweet and smart.
Suave stops walking past us and looks over.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I am gonna have a talk with that uncle of yours about child care when we meet!"Suave says
"Uh, are those Mister Killer's knives?"He asks, pointing to a tray of over a dozen knives Suave held
"Yes. He is resting now."He says
"Suave isn't much of a fan of violence."I whisper
"Also what is Disney?"Suave asks
"Oh! It is the biggest company for movies out there! Shino showed you Marvel, right? Well Disney helps it make those comics or shows for the heroes or villains! It recreates fairytales or makes their own fantasies! And Mr. Suave, how are you able to hide a knife in your duster if you aren't a fan of violence?"Ghastly explains, taking out one of Suave's dusters
He slides part of it, showing a knife hidden within.
"WHERE DID YOU GET IT?"Suave asks in alarm, snatching it from him
"I found it on a shelf."Ghastly says
"I have it for self defense. Sometimes anti-violence is not an option."Suave says
"Ah! Okay!"Ghastly says
"Are you the son of Nightmare?"Suave asks
He nods.
"How'd you get here?"He asks
"Mr. Killer left me with Mr. Reaper. He easily gets distracted and then when he got distracted, I ran off. I asked a friend of mine named Radier if I could go to Vampireverse and he helped me get here through a hall of doors or portals. I met Mister Rufous and he took me to his home. He is very nice. I told him who I am and he brought me here."Ghastly says
