Diana's PoV

"Are you sure about this?" Miss pam asked

"I never been more sure in my whole life" I confidently said that

Sky's PoV

After the wedding I had to go back to the US for good. My Doctor is prohibiting me to overwork and travel because of what happened I can no longer risk my life. Tanya said, I'm getting older which it affects my survival rate

Flashback

Matapos ako mahimatay at nagising nakita ko si Caleb sa kilid. Nung makita niya akong nagising lumapit siya

"Told you"

"I'll do it"

"Your happiness exchanged for your own good"  he clarifies

"Yes"

He was about to leave but he looked back

"Maybe someday you can have your happiness, it's her turn to sacrifice for you" he left after he said that

"Maybe"

He wasn't evil as I thought.

Present

I didn't want to leave Diana, I wanted to live for her

Caleb told me when he saw me in front of his condo he changed his plans. He saw something in me that he saw in his father when he was struggling.

Right before I left the Philippine my family visited his father and ask for forgiveness. It's all in the past now.

Currently, I'm back at the hospital I had to shave my hair again for my chemotherapy. I've been here for 2 months.

*knock knock

"Hey" tanya greeted me with a wide smile on her face

"So how are you?" She asked

"Better than last month" I got up and sit properly

"You really want to live do you" she sat down in the left side of the bed.

I look away

"For her?" I nodded

She smiled and stood up "Don't worry after this chemo you can go home finally. I'll take you home. Don't forget to take your meds okay?" I responded a nod

"Thank you" I said

Thankfully, she became my friend. She still checks up on me outside the hospital to see if im okay.

I waited for Tanya to take me home because I was too weak to drive and I just had my chemo. I was confused why she allowed me to go home since there's no one will take care of me. Last month, I insisted to go home at my house but she said no. Maybe, I really got better.

I got off her car.

"Do you want to go inside? You haven't ate dinner yet. I'll cook for you" I offered

"No, I might disturb you two" she murmured I didn't heard what she said

"What did you say?"

"I said no, thank you. I still need to go back" she said

"Okay"

I watch her drive away and wave

I opened my house. The house is so clean like it looks new.

I sat down on the living room because I was so tired already. I closed my eyes. Few minutes later I felt a warm shoulders wrap around me. It felt so real.

"Hmm" I could hear her breathing against my neck.

This feels home. I felt kisses on my neck to my ear "ughh" I moan a bit

"I missed you"

I opened my eyes and stood up quickly

"What are you doing here? How did you even get in here? How about your career?" I had so many questions

She laughs and came closer to me "Can I get my I missed you too?" She pouted

I took a deep breathe and taking what happened right now all in "I missed you so much" I grab her hand and pull her. I hugged her so tightly. She hugged me back

"Come. I prepared dinner" she pulled me to the dinner table

"You cooked?" I asked

She nodded

"Am I still dreaming? Is this even real?" I murmured

"Yes, silly" she responded I guess she heard what I said

While eating, I wanted answers to my question

"May I ask why are you here Diana?" I look at her waiting for her answer

"Just trying my luck here, you know connections" she answered

"Oh okay" I look down. I thought because of me. You're so assuming Sky

I heard laughs "of course, it's because of you Sky. I was just joking Geezz. You're too serious" she said with a smile on her face

I wanna cry how happy I am right now seeing her in front of me. I was staring at her the whole time. I just watch her do her thing

"I love you" I didn't realize I said that

She looks at me and smiled "I love you too" she lean for a kiss and I lean closer to kiss her. It was soft and subtle

After we eat, I offered to wash the dishes since she already cook for the dinner.

"Uhm...tomorrow I need to find I may need to go out to find someone to take care of me"

My parents couldn't go here because they can't just leave behind our business. If so, we can't be able to pay my treatment here. Gino isn't here. I don't know how long Diana is gonna be here

"You can start now" she said

"Huh?"

She cleared her throat "My name is Diana Mackey, 29, from the Philippines and-" I cut her off

"Baliw, haha im serious. I don't know how long you'll be here" I clarified

She came closer to me. I washed my hands after I wash all the dishes and wipe it off on a piece of cloth.

"I am serious too. For so long, I haven't been by your side on this battle. Now, im here Sky. I'll never leave by your side." She caresses my face with her thumb

"But your life... work in the Philippines?" I ask

"My life is here with you" she kissed me and I close my eyes taking her sweet lips on me

I was cherishing every second we kiss but I still have a question so I pulled away

"But your caree—" She cut me off

"Sky, will you please stop with the questions? And just make love with me?"
