Chapter 17

Third person's PoV

Nasa pinto na si zoe. Kinuha niya ang susi niya at binuksan ito

Nagulat si sky at diana nung ma buksan ang pinto pero mas nagulat si zoe sa nadatnan niya

Tumayo si sky at binitawan yung kamay ni diana. Linapitan niya si zoe at kiniss sa pisngi

Tumayo naman si diana at nakita ni zoe dumudugo yung kamay niya

"Dumudugo yung kamay mo teka May first aid kit ako" kinuha naman ni zoe ito at linapitan si diana

"Ano bang nangyari?" Tanong ni zoe

"Na tabig lang ni diana yung baso nung paalis na siya" paliwanag ni sky

Nung matapos na niyang lagyan ng band aid nagpasalamat naman si diana kay zoe at sky. Nagpasya itong umalis agad

"Ikaw babe wala ka bang sugat?" Tanong ni zoe

"Wala naman" sabi ko

Chineck naman ni zoe at meron sa paa ko medyo hindi naman malalim

"Mag ingat ka sa susunod okay?" Nag aalala niyang sabi

Linagyan niya nang betadine para hindi na dumugo. Tumayo naman siya at kinuha yung susuotin ko mamaya.

"Bihis ka na"

Diana's PoV

"Napano yan?" Tanong ni caleb

"Ah wala to" I smiled

"Nga pala mag ready na tayo for the fair ng ibat ibang clothing brand. Since tayo yung para sa MNL brand expected na pupunta tayo"

Patuloy siyang nag sasalita pero nagkukunwari akong nakikinig sa kanya

Sky's PoV

On the way na kami sa studio

"Btw babe we need to attend the fair. The H&H wants us to be there"

"Do we really need to?"

"We kinda do. Ngayon kasi we are the face of H&H"

Naghihintay nalang kami na tawagin at curious ako bat kailangan namin to gawin

"Why do we need to do this again?" I ask

"Apparently, everyone wants to know us. The story behind it. This is good for H&H. In a way, parang we promote it"

Third person's PoV

Naka pwesto na sila

"Live on 3..2..1"

"Magandang gabi sa inyong lahat. Ang bisita natin ngayon ay trending at maraming tao ang curious sa mysterious couple na to.... please welcome zoe and sky" sabi ng host

"Magandang gabi po" bati nilang dalawa

Tumingin sila sa audience ang daming tao

Host: Let's start with how did you two meet take us back where it all started

Nagkatinginan naman si sky at zoe if sino yung mag sasalita

Zoe: Nag hihintay po siya sa alaga niya dahil nasa meeting. I thought he was cute kaya po linapitan ko siya

They both smiled at each other

Sky: we became friends po nun. Nakakasalubong ko siya sa hallway po parati

Host: naging kayo na ba from that time?

Both: no po

Sky: bumalik po ako ng america dahil may inasikaso po at I had to leave my job as a PA

Host: at kaninong PA? Some says kasi you're too handsome to be a PA

Both of them chuckles

Sky: I can't say her name po but she's nice naman po

Host: okay back to the story

Zoe: I accidentally bumped into sky sa US while I was with my friend and the rest is history

Maagang umuwi si diana para panoorin yung interview nila sky. Live in na sila caleb and diana kaya kasama niya ito manood

"Hanep din yung ex assistant mo ah" sabi ni caleb

Hindi na ito pinansin ni diana kundi nakinig ito nang mabuti

Host: this next question is quite personal pero ito yung gustong malaman ng sambayanan. Okay lang if hindi mo sasagutin.... why did you left 7 yrs ago and didn't finish college? Nasa america ka na what happened?

Nagkatinginan si zoe at sky. Hinawakan naman ni zoe ang kamay ni sky para damayan niya

Sky: uhmm... I'm not saying this to gain your sympathy but 7 years ago... I was diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia. 5 years living in america is mostly Treatment. Nagpabalik balik po kasi siya but nung okay na ako I went back here but bumalik nanaman po siya ulit

Host: are you cured?

Sky: No po. Pa balikbalik po kasi siya. All I have to do is to maintain my therapy

.....

Nung marinig ni diana yung sagot ni sky nagulat siya at hindi mapigilan maluha. Hindi niya akalain yun pala yung rason bakit siya neto iniwan noon.

"Bakit ka naiiyak?" Tanong ni caleb

Lumapit naman siya at comfort ako

....

Host: I guess zoe was there for you?

Sky: she was

Sky smiled at her

Host: zoe, what do you love the most about sky?

Zoe: he's very mysterious.... he's not materialistic. Yung presence ko po enough na sakanya

Host: thats sweet!.... how are you guys feeling na magkatapat yung billboard niyo ng sikat na love team ngayon

Zoe: overwhelm po kasi on how we made the billboard was unexpected *chuckles* I look up to diana and caleb dahil sobrang successful nila

Host: what do you mean by unexpected

Zoe was unsure to tell the whole story but she did

Host: you work at roque enterprise?

Tumango naman si sky. Sumanyas na yung staff na time na

Host: I hope I could hold you both but the time. Well I hope we could talk again. I know some people out there are dying to get to know you.... what's next for the both you?

Zoe: We will be at the fair this coming Saturday

Host: that's great news! I will see you both there... Good night everyone!

Its 2am na at hindi parin makatulog si diana. Naalala niya padin yung pinag awayan nila noon

*flashback

"I can't believe this. *deep breathe* I'll stay off on your radar. You don't even know what I sacrifice to be here with you" his voice breaks

"Hindi ko naman yun hiningi sayo. It was your choice" I stand and look at the skyscraper view

"Right. My bad."

*present

She decided to text sky

Diana: why didn't you told me?

Ilang minuto *vibrates

Sky: if I told you does it change everything? No. I'm sorry, you had to find out about it on television.  Good night Diana.
