It had been weeks since the group had started traveling through the thick forests, coming up with little to no confrontation with Fire nation soldiers. A part of Kai was hoping that their good luck would continue, but her gut told her otherwise.
It didn't take long for Sokka to come up with the conclusion that it would be better for them to carry on their travels on foot, rather than on top of the flying bison. An idea that Kai easily agreed to. It was nothing against Appa, she loved the giant animal, but she did have to admit he wasn't so great at the sneaking part of sneaking around. Katara and Aang were both severely against the idea of walking, practically complaining every chance they got.
