She had always been spoken to harshly.
Told she was too loud, too this, too that.
Her bones felt weak from the impact.
She was so close to crumbling under the weight of these heavy words.
Until she was touched so gently, so softly she felt her own bones strengthen.
She was touched so softly by the sweet girl with the pretty eyes.
Now she no longer felt heavy.
