Gold walked around the crowd.

She was done with drama.

It was so stupid.

The whole school just a few days ago thought she was dating Prince.

It's the most obvious thing that he's dating Evan.

She'd recently realised that spreading rumours was cruel and uncalled for.

She made her way to her locker.

Gold looked around for a moment, confused.

She'd been thinking so hard she hadn't realised that the halls were decorated with red and pink streamers.

"Happy Valentine's Day!" Funneh yelled, slapping her on the back.

"Ow!"

Gold glared at her.

She turned to her locker and opened it.

About a thousand cards tumbled into the floor, Gold rolled her eyes.

Funneh pointed at them, "someone's popular now!"

Gold sighed irritably.

"Secret admirer things, yuck." She picked up a card and lazily threw it away.

Funneh stared at her best friend, confused.

"Last year you would've been thrilled... They clearly put a lot of effort into making their cards."

Gold bit her lip, feeling bad.

She picked them up and put them in her bag to read later.

Funneh helped her pick some up.

They did this silently until both their bags were stuffed with Gold's cards.

Funneh pulled two cards out of her pocket.

"This one's from me, I'm giving them to all our friends! And this one," She looked at it with a small smile, "this one is from your future boyfriend."

Gold opened her mouth to speak but Funneh shoved the cards in her hand and ran off.

Gold read Funnehs and grinned.

She took out the second one and peered at it.

𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝐶𝐻𝐸𝑒𝑅 𝑚𝑒 𝑢𝑝 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑡𝑅𝑌𝑖𝑛𝑔,

"Go to t-the ch-cherry t-tree for me? What?"

Gold looked at the poem.

It didn't make any sense because it was made to hide a message.

She looked around to see the hallway mostly empty.

She glanced at the note, it had cute little drawings all around it.

"It wouldn't hurt to try." She shrugged, pocketing the note.

She made her way to form class.

"H-hey G-gold!" A voice called.

She turned to see Kyran.

"Oh, hey Ky!" She greeted cheerfully.

"I-I s-saw t-that you got a l-lot of valentine's cards..." He looked bright red.

"Yeah, I did. Are you sick, why are you so red?" She asked, concerned.

Kyran looked slightly disappointed.

"I'm fine." He said, not stuttering.

He mumbled to himself as he made his way to his seat next to Alec.

Gold watched him go.

Something's off about him, she thought.

She shrugged it off and returned to her seat.

Gold saw Funneh leave her seat and go to Kyran.

"Ky, did you get anything more from your secret admirer?" Funneh eagerly asked.

Kyran nodded, a light blush staining his cheeks.

"They decorated my whole house with flowers, streamers and decorations. They filled my fridge with all my favourite food and gifted me a bike." Kyran smiled.

Everyone gathered over to his table as he carried on listing all the wonderful things his admirer did.

Gold felt a little sour.

Who'd care for Kyran that much to do all that?

(Ehem, I would.)

She sat in her seat brooding.

Time skip

Gold left form when the bell rang.

"Free period, yes!" Funneh cheered.

Gold smiled distractedly.

"Er, see you later, I need to do something."

Funneh smiled knowingly and waved goodbye to her.

Gold took out the letter and read it again.

She looked around for anyone who was obviously looking at her.

But no one was.

She turned back to the letter.

"There's a cherry tree at YHS?" She exclaimed.

"Hm, never knew that."

"Hello Gold." Yumi said.

"Hey Yandere chan! Do you perhaps know where a cheery tree is?" She inquired.

Yumi nodded, "At the back field. Why?"

"I'll explain later. Thanks!" She waved to her as she ran to the gym.

She threw the doors open and ran for the doors leading to the field.

Gold ran to the farthest place of the field where she spotted a small tree with small red dots and a figure.

She ran breathlessly.

She finally got to the tree.

She clutched her knees and bent down, trying to catch her breath.

"Hey, Gold."

Gold looked up to see Kyran staring at her with a look she'd never seen before.

"Do you know where my secret admirer is?" She asked stupidly.

Kyran chuckled and stepped closer.

"I am your secret admirer, Gold. I've had a crush on you for these past two years." He whispered.

He gently slipped his hands into hers, looking so adoringly into her eyes.

"I love you..."
