It hit like a thousand knives
The words of hatred and fear
Though he was gone
But he was still here
He was there
Like a shadow
Never to leave me by myself
Always there to remind me of him
His warmth under my cold skin
His touch like the ray of the hot sun
To stay with me for all entirety
He was there
Always there
No matter how much I begged pleased or cried he was there
Never leaving
I wanted to be alone in my self hatred
But no he had to be there to see me cry every tear
Every tear he made roll down my face
For he was leaving
And I was staying by myself
Without him standing over me
Like a shadow in disguise
Without him at all
Just me by myself
With just me, myself and I.

PoetryI love writing poetry so these are some random one that came into my head. These all free verse none have a actual beat or rhyming. I just write these to write and save kinda like a poetry journal. So please be nice. Thank you and enjoy!
