Chapter 1

CHAPTER 1

I laid on Seth bare chest as he slept. I smiled as he snored. I couldn’t think of anything better then this. Seth and Edward were finally getting along. Nicole was back, and she was herself again. And baby Eddie was the happiest little boy ever. I groaned as my cell phone rang. I reached over being careful to keep my bare chest covered with Seth’s sheets.

“Hello?” I answered.

“Good morning Lily” Alice sang.

“good morning” I said trying to hold back a yawn.

“Carlisle wants you home, we’re having a family meeting” she said

“ok, I should be home soon” I said.

“by the way you should thank me” she said.

“why is that?” I asked.

“Edward insisted on going over there to get you but I said it would be better to call” she said

“Thank you Alice” I said

“your welcome” she said.

I could hear the smile in her voice.

“I’m on my way” I said

“alright see you soon” she said hanging up.

I sighed and ran my fingers through my messy hair. I was just about to get up when I felt a pair of arms snake around my waist.

“morning” Seth mumbled.

I laughed a small laugh.

“Good morning” I said

“what are you doing up?” he asked placing his chin on my shoulder.

“Alice called” I started.

He pulled me closer.

“tell her she can’t have you because your mine” he muttered

I giggled.

“ I would but I guess Carlisle wants me home for a family meeting” I said

He groaned.

“but I only had you for a few hours” he said

“I know” I said with a smile.

“we’re going to have to work out a time agreement” he said letting go of my waist so I could get up.

I laughed.

“or you could come with me?” I offered

“I don’t think that’s a good idea.” he said

“why not?” I asked putting on my clothes that were scattered around the room.

“because it’s a family meeting and I’m not apart of the family” he mumbled

I frowned.

“you’re my family” I said.

He smiled and pulled me back to him once I was dressed.

“I don’t  think they see it that way” he said into my hair.

I sighed.

“I should get going” I mumbled.

He nodded.

“I’ll either call you or text you or something” I said he nodded.

I was about to leave when he stopped me.

“where do you think your going?” he asked.

I looked at him funny.

“I pretty sure you forgot something” he said crossing his arms.

“ and what would that be?” I asked.

He smiled and stood up. He took my face in his hands and kissed me. I smiled into the kiss.

“how dare I think about leaving with out kissing you” I mumbled into the kiss.

He smiled.

“I love you Lily” he mumbled.

“I love you too, I’ll see you later” I kissed him one last time.

I jumped down from the Seth’s window and ran home as fast as I could. I knew that the faster I got this over with I the faster I could go back to Seth.

“Lily, how was your night?” Esme asked.

I smiled.

“it was alright” I said

“just alright?” Emmett asked with a smirk.

Both me and Edward glared at him.

“yeah it was alright” I said

He put his hands up in surrender.

“so a family meeting?” I asked.

Esme nodded.

“we’re just waiting for your father and Edward to get back with Nicole” she said

I nodded and sat down on the couch.

“ah Lily you’re here” Carlisle said as he walked through the door,

I nodded.

“I heard the was going to be  family meeting” I said

he nodded

“we need to move on” he said.

I frowned.

“what?” I asked.

“Lily, you knew it was going to happen” Edward said.

“what about Seth?” I asked.

Everyone avoided eye contact with me

“I’m not leaving!” I said crossing my arms

“people are starting to notice” Edward said.

“I am not leaving!” I said again.

“we just can’t leave you here” Carlisle said

I took in a shaky breath.

“I can’t leave Seth” I muttered.

Esme patted my back.

“I know honey” she mumbled.

“when? Where?” I asked.

“as soon as we can and your mother and I wanted to go to Alaska or maybe even Colorado” Carlisle said.

I could hear the excitement in his voice but I couldn’t see my self where Seth wasn’t.

“I knew it’s going to be tough but you’ll get through it” Nicole said.

“we’ll still get to visit each other and call each other right?” I asked.

“of course” Carlisle said.

I nodded still not satisfied but I knew this was going to happen no matter how much I was trying to avoid it.

“I guess I should go tell Seth” I said.

I stood up and wiped the tears from my eyes.
