Weeks were flying by and me and Zac were getting close. Since I'm a nobody compared to him, I feel like we would never have a chance. He's like the coolest of cool kids and I'm just another one of the many kids who go to highschool.

We do smile at eachother when we see eachother in the halls, which makes me feel good. Girls were throwing themselves at him pretty much begging to hook up, but he kept denying. I never understood why, he could get with most gorgeous girl in the school and he chooses not too.

It was just another ordinary day, I saw the same people every day and had the same routine. When it was time to tutor Zac today, I felt like something was a little different.

When Zac walked into the room he looked happy for some reason, like an unusual happy. We were in the library and we were always alone, which I didn't know how to feel about it.

"Hey, what's that look for?" I ask, nudging at him.

"Oh nothing," he said laughing.

Today was different than the rest. I felt like something was different, not bad or good, I don't know what.

"Hey Blakley, do you want to actually know why I'm happy?" He asks.

"Yes I do," I tell him.

"We'll I was just wondering, you know how we always are together since you tutor me and stuff?" Zac asks looking nervous surprisingly.

"Um yeah," I say giggling.

"We'll We should hangout sometime besides you tutoring me," he says.

My face lit up. It felt like the room got 100 degrees hotter and my blood was rushing.

"Yeah we should," I said trying to act chill.

"I'll pick you up at 8 tonight, be ready," Zac says as he leaves the room.

I was speechless, it was like a dream come true. What should I wear? What about my hair? My mind was jumbled with thoughts.

When I got home I went straight to my room digging through my clothes. I found a black dress with white lace on the ends and some black wedges. I was really proud of my outfit, but I was stressing out about my hair. I had it in a pony tail today and it was a mess.

I ran to the shower and wash my hair with a minute. When I got out of the shower u blow dried my hair and straightened it. He has never seen me with my hair straightened. I hope he likes it.

It was 7:56 and I began to think about if he knows if I'm actually a freshman because he's a sophomore and sophomores normally don't like freshman.
