this is a little short since i have no idea what goes on in there, but i do hope you enjoyed!

- doesn't realize every hour that passes by
- if allowed, he'll take pictures after the delivery
- gets teary eyed but doesn't want you seeing him cry
- "just a bit more, love. we're almost there."

- has been preparing for it since three months in pregnancy
- acts as if he's one of the nurses while holding your hand tightly
- might pass out after talking to the doctor and making sure you and the baby is fine
- "i know you're tired, but you're doing amazing. keep going."

- tells you not to panic even though he should speak for himself
- wipes your sweat and feeds you ice chips
- even though he seems anxious, he's actually pretty excited for the child
- "you're doing it, sunshine! hang in there."

- reminds you to go to the bathroom every hour beforehand
- this will probably be his first wanting to talk to a stranger (the nurse)
- asks questions about what he needs to do in a panicking manner

- it's like he's the one giving birth
- he will become very emotional, he will bawl his eyes out
- "i'm here for you. i'm not going anywhere."

- completely jittery inside but doesn't want to add more problems
- once the infant is in his arms, he'll immediately run to you to show you
- "i love you so much. keep pushing."

- has cleared all his schedule during your ninth month because there's no way he's missing it
- becomes quiet (finally) to not make you more stressed; only whisper words of encouragement
- immediately tell the nurses if he thinks something is wrong
- "you can do this, sweetheart. you'll see our little angel soon."

- bring any sort of entertainment for you while you wait
- finds some views unsettling but that doesn't stop that from giving you comforting words
- tells the you how strong you are to go through this
- "think about the baby, hon. you got this."
a/n: getting pregnant is literally one of my biggest fears. like, you suffer for nine months because there's something inside leeching off of you, then suffer for how many more months after giving birth for the pain along with taking care of your body, then proceed taking care of that baby for what could be the rest of your life, with no guarantee that they'll pay you back with the amounts of love, time, effort you gave them.
like, isn't that horrible? or am i just a crazy, overthinking and anxious person who hates children?
