The monstrous creature tried to attack the group.
Everyone was more worried for Trollex.
King Quincy shouted, "Trollex! There's a rock formation 10 paces to the right! Hide behind it and you should be safe!"
But, Trollex had some trouble, "Wait! Your right or my right?"
The Tarantacapuff was about to strike Trollex!
"Trollex!"
However, before it could, he was grabbed by Branch's hair, "I got you!"
He then placed Trollex behind the rock formation, "You, stay!"
Trollex did just that and was soon joined by DJ.
The others tried to fight back.
Delta used her lasso to grab one of its legs, but it was too strong to stay caught for long.
Guy Diamond used his glitter, "Eat glitter!"
It temporarily blinded it, but was still able to fight.
Branch used Hair-Jitsu, but the monster was able to dodge the attacks.
Poppy shouted, "It's too strong!"
Barb shouted, "Leave this to me!"
She used her guitar and sent blasts at it.
But, while the Tarantacapuff had a hard time, it was able to knock it out of her hands.
"No!"
When Barb tried to run to get it, the giant spider hit her away from it.
It seemed like there was nothing they could do.
However, Trollex was able to notice something.
He kept hearing a hiss before an attack.
He asked DJ, "Do you hear that?"
DJ replied, "Hear what?"
"It's the same sound before every attack."
Trollex finally realized what to do.
Trollex grabbed out a tape recorder and started to slowly move in.
DJ tried to stop him, but it was no use.
Trollex used his hearing to get close enough without being seen.
He then recorded its hiss.
He then came out of hiding and slowly started moving towards it.
The others noticed.
Poppy shouted, "Trollex, no! Get out of there!"
Trollex just shouted, "Quiet, Poppy! I'm dealing with it!"
The Tarantacapuff started getting ready to attack again.
However, before it could, Trollex replayed the hiss on the tape recorder.
The creature looked around, wondering where the sound was coming from.
That was exactly how Trollex wanted it, "That's it."
Trollex played it again.
The Tarantacapuff was still confused as to where the sound was coming from.
It seemed to wonder if there was another Tarantacapuff around.
Poppy realized what he was doing, "He's using its own sound to distract it."
Everyone watched with amazement.
Finally, after a few more hisses, Trollex got close enough to hold his hand out to it.
And the Tarantacapuff calmly put its head against it.
Branch said, "And that's how we can tame it."
DJ rushed to Trollex, "That was amazing!"
Barb asked, "How did you do that if you can't see?"
Trollex said, "I didn't have to. I have other senses."
The giant creature then left.
Trollex was full of pride.

Back in Techno Reef, Dr. Darya had removed the bandages from Trollex's eyes.
The very first thing he saw was DJ.
DJ asked, "How do you feel?"
He said to her, "Honestly, after everything we've been through, I'm glad the first thing I saw was something...well, someone...beautiful."
DJ blushed and kissed his cheek.
