Hello!! I know it's been ages since I've updated this! I see there is is still some interest in this and I decided to finish it. I will be going back and fixing a few things ( grammar, story plot, and any other inconsistencies). So thank you for wanting more and sticking with this. I'll be dedicating the new chapter to all the people who have been reading, adding this to lists, and especially commenting and reminding me of this story.

Disclaimer: I do not own GMW or the characters. The writing is mine though.

Here is a little sneak peek of the new chapter...

Being a new mom, in general, is hard but adding the pressures of high school to it is a whole other challenge. Especially since it was her senior year and she was almost done. Riley's day currently consisted of taking care of her daughter and trying to keep up with school. Currently, Bella was still getting adjusted to her feeding and sleeping schedule. There would be nights where Bella would keep them up until 3 in the morning. They were working on getting her adjusted seeing that Riley would be returning to school very soon. She did her homework and tried to maintain her near perfect GPA she had worked for her entire school career. College was another looming topic on her mind. She knew she wanted to stay near home. For Bella, Lucas, and her family. She even had a scholarship offer and Lucas had decided to stay with her in New York. But there was always going to be a "what if" scenario running through her mind. But a conversation with her grandmother stuck in her head the last time she saw her when she was still pregnant.

Riley was sitting in her bay window staring out at the moonlight. The loud noise of  New York City was soothing to her. She had decided to come into her room for a bit to get away from everyone currently in her living room. Everyone had met up for a Sunday dinner and games. This included Maya and her family, Farkle, Smackle, her Uncle Erick, and even her grandparents had shown up. Lucas was away with his parents this weekend since they decided to take a small trip to Texas to visit their family. Riley loved being around them but being this late into her pregnancy required her to walk away from all the commotion for a bit.  She heard the door open but she just assumed that it was Maya walking into the room.

"Hi honey", her grandmother said softly as she sat right next to Riley.

"Grandma, what are you doing here", Riley questioned as she turned to her.

"I just wanted to check up on you. Gotta make sure you don't go into labor", her grandma joked with a chuckle.

Riley only laughed at this small joke. They sat in peaceful silence for about a minute before her grandma spoke up again.

"I just wanted to let you know that you have my unconditional support. I know that you already accepted the NYU offer. But if you ever feel like this is all too much, know that I'm here for you sweetheart. If you ever need a break, call me. You can always come and be with me. Even if it means going to school near where I live. I'll always help you with anything."

Riley had a few tears in her eyes as she heard her grandma speak. She quickly brushed them away and engulfed her grandma in a quick hug. Well as much as her big belly let her hug her grandma.

Riley thought back to that moment with her grandma. It was nice to know that she could always count on her grandma. That Philadelphia was always a choice for her....
