Sorry for the long wait. I'm moving into an apartment and I am working with some anxiety when it comes to that (prayed to God and honestly things have gotten so much better- I feel a lot more at peace now).

I also work at a preschool so everything is crazy with what we have to do to clean and sanitize. A lot is changing but I'll do anything for my kids (ha I say my as if they are actually mine- feels like it though, honestly)

So anyways, I hope you guys can forgive me for taking so long. I forget that you guys go through some stuff as well. As a reader I enjoy reading a good book on wattpad when I'm down so I'm gonna go ahead and write this chapter now that it's been several weeks.

The silence was so loud. It was ironic to Soundwave, really. His entire life had been filled with silence- yet it had so much meaning. So many reasons he wanted to stay silent and remain as such forever.

But then things changed.

He met a human, who happened to be his spark mate. It would have been so easy to offline her and dispose of the body- make sure he obeyed his master and kept his vow of silence. Continue his only will to live.

Avenge his parental units. Offline Optimus Prime. It was as simple as that. Please his one and only master, Megatron, and end the war that caused so much pain on Cybertron for millennia.

As Soundwave released the blade that remained hidden in his right arm, he almost felt like smiling. At least, in the end -despite there being so many twists in what he once believed to be true- he would do the one thing he vowed to do since his sire died.

Offline Optimus Prime and win this Primus awful war. The Autobot's leader nodded once towards the previously silent mech. It was a small movement. One Soundwave doubted any other bot could see.

His optics focused on his spark mate for a short moment. She was unmoving and unconscious. It was painful for the mech. More painful than anything he had felt in a very long time. Not since his parental units it's had been murdered.

Megatron understood Soundwave's feelings toward the human. She was his sparkmate. Sparkmates, to Cybertronians, were supposed to be with each other forever. Loving one another. Cherishing their bond until they passed.

Lynlee was about to pass away too soon.

"I suggest you get on with it," Megatron sneered as he shook Lynlee's glass prison, "unless you wish for her to offline right here on the battlefield."

Both the Autobots and Decepticons looked anxious as the two approached each other. Optimus inhaled deeply before unsheathing his own sword.

Then, the two rushed forward.

Optimus lifted his blaster and aimed for Soundwave's helm, which the mech easily avoided. Soundwave's plan was simple- Optimus Prime was best at long distance combat. Though he did gain a unique physical strength once he became a prime, Soundwave possessed better materials for close combat.

The Autobot dodged an attack from a tentacle and cut at another with his blade. Within a few moments after their fight began, Soundwave could hear more blasters ring out.

The Autobots and Decepticons were attacki nf. Megatron stood in the same place as he had before, surveying the field as his army attacked the Autobots.
