Next day
Aakela’s Pov
I woke up and went to the bathroom to clean up then walked downstairs to go get some breakfast. Nancy and a couple other female members were making breakfast for the whole pack plus the newly joined members.
*Knock* *Knock*
I went to go answer the door since I was closest to it. A guy in a orange vest that shows he’s a worker stood there.
“Just wanted to let you know my crew is here to make that mansion you wanted just need to know where to put it” He Said
“Well you could put it beside this one” I answer still kind of sleepy
“Is there a certain way you would like for me to build it” He asked
“Yes just like this one but smaller” I state
“Alright” He answered and walked over to his workers with the machines and stuff to start working
I Close the door and walk back in the kitchen to see a couple of the new members in there eating. When I walk in they look and say
“Good morning alpha” in unison
“It’s Just Aakela in the pack house” I smile comfortably letting them know they can relax and trust me
“Ok Aakela” The Say and went back to eating
I sit down and grab a plate of bacon and pancakes and eggs and got to eating before all the male wolfs came and sucked it all down
Just as I finished eating the twins came tumbling in arguing over heavens knows what.
“No sheep skip and frolic and jump over fences so I can count them and go to sleep” James says
“You Dumbass they kill sheep so we can eat them and get there fluffiness” Jamie screams
“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Not true not true not true I see them every night you numb skull bleehhhh” James says sticking his tongue out
Jamie jumps on top of James and they tumble around and across the whole kitchen while everyone came in and watch the show James jumps up and grabs the pancake syrup and squirts it all over Jamie While Singing
“You’re a Barbie girl in a Barbie woooorrrrrllllddd” While dancing and shaking his hips and grabbing another bottle of syrup and jumping on top of the counter
Before he could squirt it Jamie dives for him both of them toppling into pancake batter. Both of them jumping out of the pancake batter started to circling each other like cowboys with flour in their hands now ready to throw it at each somebody from the crowd they accumulated screamed READY! AIM! FIRE! And they started throwing it back and forth till they fell on top of each other screaming
“Pigeons and penguins are related”
May I remind you the twins are both 18 ……smh
As everyone filled into the kitchen including my cheater of a mate everything settled into a peaceful hum as everyone started eating as I was standing there looking over my pack I felt a pair of arms wrap around me and a chin on my shoulder surprised at the fact my wolf didn’t find this person threatening and let them hold me like this I look up to see who it was at the same time everyone did and when I looked up I saw a pair of gorgeous hazel with a mixture of blue eyes staring down at me. For some reason I felt comfortable in them but I know I had to move out of them.
As I stepped out of the arms a lot too late my pack noticing my slow retreat/reaction
“Good morning Danny” I Say
“Good morning beautiful” He responds only loud enough for me to hear
As I walk out of his arms and out of the room of onlookers I see my mate looking at me and Danny with looks that could kill and I just scoff at the thought after what he said that night and what I did yesterday he still thinks he has the right to be mad not that I care anyways
I walk into my office and make a list of all the new members that have joined my pack and have enrolled them into school automatically and et the computer do the choosing of schedules I leave my office after more boring paper work
I walk into my room and go into the conjoined room leading to the secret room my father put all my gifts in before he …. Left
I grab the book my father left for me so I can figure out why my wolf didn’t alert me as to Danny walking up behind me and why it felt ….nice having him holding me
As I open the book it flips open to the page it allows me to read today I read on and on to as far as it would let me but I didn’t get it so I close the book and put it back and walk out of the room feeling the presence of someone in my room I walk out and flip them over me ad they luckily land on my bed I look to see its Danny and I didn’t feel threatened anymore right when I was about to let him go he used both his hands and grabbed me and flipped me over onto the bed to a position where im straddling him and I could already see his wolf coming to the surface and my wolf purring which shocked me to the core.
“Aakela” He said huskily
“Danny I can’t get attached to anyone” I Replied …..as the book said Love is a Weakness and a strength but no matter how much strength there should be no weakness so I don’t want to risk it.
“I want you” He whispered
I groan and climb off of him and begin to walk out of my room when he grabbed my wrist and pushed me up against the wall “I want you” and to my disbelief it was him talking and not his wolf.
He leans down and kisses me and unlike in my secret room I didn’t pull away I melted into it as I put my hands around his neck and let my fingers roam through his hair my wolf feeling alive I pull away before it got too intense and look at him with bewilderment
“How,What,Why” Where the questions I asked before I blacked out
