everything is fine, that's what they want you to say
when they take the time to ask is everything okay
lost in our own little worlds of this self deluded lifestyle
worried about likes, notices, and always going that extra mile
to make sure that others know
to make sure that they see
the lies, and not the reality that is me
I smile, and say everything is fine
just a bad day, it'll pass in time
then I sit here in this darkness
that I can't escape,
waiting for the day
that when I say everything is fine
they say, no, you're not okay
